Logo and corporate identity
Engineers Europe is the European engineering federation, based in Brussels. Founded in 1951, the alliance represents the interests of European engineers.
Because the federation wanted to position itself differently, with a new name and a new logo, they went through a pitch competition to find branding-proposals.
New name
The umbrella federation for European engineers, or FEANI, wanted to position itself differently as of September 2018. After all, the 1951 name FEANI, after the original French name “Fédération Internationale d’Associations Nationales d’Ingénieurs,” does not immediately ring a bell with individual engineers. To be better recognized by the some 6 million engineers in Europe, they were looking for a new name and logo.
Designaid had the opportunity to present some ideas for their
rebranding via a pitch. We are therefore very proud that one of our proposals was unanimously approved: the new name “Engineers Europe” with accompanying logo (and corporate identity).
Fire
The delivery of a new logo comes with a manual, also called brand guidelines. This will include all specifications of the logo such as color codes, logo usage, fonts, etc.
In addition, the client, in this case Engineers Europe, receives a package containing the logo in various formats and extensions so that the logo can be smoothly implemented in all communication channels.
